A winery where everything is done by hand... and decided as a family.

We started in 2003, in a small facility in General Roca, convinced that a good wine is imagined long before it is planted. A decade later, growth took us to the old «Estepa» winery in Fernández Oro, still one of our production sites today.

In 2017 we added vineyards in Mainqué, planted in 1958: vines with history that in 2019 let us open our own winery. Every member of the family has a role: harvest, winemaking, ageing, bottling, marketing and sales. No intermediaries between what we feel and what we offer.

2003
Origin

The family venture is born in General Roca, under the name «Bodega Chacras del Sol».

2014
Growth

Move to the old «Estepa» winery in Fernández Oro, to keep up with rising production.

2017
Mainqué

Acquisition of the Mainqué vineyards, planted in 1958, alongside a historic farmstead.

2019
Our own winery

We open our own winery, bringing harvest, winemaking and ageing together in one place.

Nothing is rushed...nothing is improvised

We work with organic methods, respect the natural pace of each varietal and build every bottle with empathy for the person who chooses it. The detail is never minor: it is what makes the difference.

Sustainable ~

We prioritise biodiversity, water care and soil fertility. A conscious reduction in the use of chemical inputs.

Organic

Certified production that respects the grape's natural cycle, seeking authentic flavours with minimal intervention.

High quality

Every bottle goes through rigorous control, from grape selection to bottling. Nothing reaches your glass by chance.

Closeness

Every wine, every detail, every gesture is handled by someone in the family. No intermediaries between what we feel and what we offer.

Four ranges, one same way of making them.

More than 24 labels made from classic and experimental varietals: Malbec, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Trousseau, Torrontés, Pedro Ximénez, Semillón, Loca Blanca. Four families to discover Patagonia from different angles.

I. Jovem

Miras Jovem

Young, expressive wines with a focus on fruit. Pinot Noir as the range's hero, and an orange wine that breaks the obvious.

II. Fresh

Miras Livianos

Our newest range. Fruit-driven, vibrant acidity and great freshness. Low alcohol, made to be uncorked without delay.

III. Crianza

Miras Crianza

The passing of time in the glass. Age-worthy wines, a balance of fruit and oak, absolute respect for each varietal's timing.

IV. Icon

Familia Miras

Our icon range: small batches from selected 1958 vineyards. Organic wines that reflect the family's highest level of care.
